Mangalore, Nov 26: ‘Aththi Devobhava' was proved true at ‘Pre-Unique’, the State-level inter pre-university intellectual and cultural fest of the St Aloysius PU College, by handing over the first place to St Agnes PU College, Mangalore by the host college.

St Agnes College bagged the runners up, behind champions St Aloysius PU College. But since SAC is the host college the first place went to St Agnes College, whereas Alva’s College Moodbidri bagged the second place at this State-level fest.

 

Vision and Action are keys to success. If the vision is not clear, actions will not be clear and you cannot achieve success, said the chief guest Sr Maria Goretti S R A, superior general designate of Missionary Sisters of the Queen of Apostles.

She also wished good luck to one and all and invoked God’s blessings on the participants for the future.

We expect our students to be men and women for others, said the president Fr Francis Serrao SJ, rector St Aloysius Institutions and he congratulated all the participants.

Participants from various colleges shared their feelings about the fest and their words only echoed that Pre Unique was a great success.

The chief guest and president of the function gave away the prizes. 

Grishin D’Souza, assistant convener, welcomed and introduced the chief guests. Sunil D’Cunha proposed vote of thanks.
