Having baby is like getting a new cellphone, feels Kutcher

Los Angeles, Dec 13 (IANS): Actor Ashton Kutcher thinks having a newborn baby is like getting a new mobile phone.

Kutcher and his fiancee actress Mila Kunis welcomed their daughter Wyatt to the world 10 weeks ago, and he said that caring for a child was a similar experience to receiving a new mobile that doesn't yet have all of its features set up correctly, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"When you first get them, you're all excited and you're like ready to do all these things. Then you realize it's like getting a new cellphone, where all the features don't work yet.

"It won't take pictures and you're like, 'Why won't my phone take pictures?' and it won't make calls and it doesn't do a lot, but it looks really cute," the actor told Ellen DeGeneres talking about his baby girl on her show.

In awe of his baby girl he says she's a quick learner.

"She found herself in the mirror and realised she was able to control the thing in the mirror, which was pretty cool," he said.

Kutcher went on to praise his partner Kunis, hailing her as a great mother for how well she copes whilst he's working.

"But the most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner, Mila. She's the greatest mom. I go to work every day and I come home and she's like perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing and I know that something probably didn't go amazing, but she never complains," said the 36-year-old.

The pair are hands-on parents and have decided not to hire a nanny so that they "know" their daughter better than anyone else.

"We just want to know our kid. We want to be the people that know what to do when the baby's crying to make the baby not cry anymore. I think the only way to do that is by being the one who's there," added Kutcher.
