Mangalore, Nov 28:
An Indo-US CME/ workshop on paediatric anaesthesia was inaugurated at TMA Pai International Convention Centre on Tuesday November 28 evening.  The workshop was organized by MAHE in association with the University of Minnesota, USA.

The workshop was inaugurated by Kumar Giridharidas Belani, professor, department of anaestheology, University of Minnesota.

 MAHE pro-chancellor Dr H S Ballal presided over the inaugural function. In his presidential address he hailed the efforts of organizers in conducting such workshop in the city.  'These kind of programmes are necessary to update ourselves and students because books on these topics not readily available," he added.

Dr B Radhakrishna released the souvenir.  In his speech he said that these kinds of Anaesthesia programmes will be beneficial to youngsters.

Dr Ambereesh, professor and head of department of anaestheology, KL Gopalkrishna from Corporation Bank, David Steven Beebe, professor of Department of Anaesthesiology, University of Minnesota,   Dr PF Kotur,  editor, Indian Journal of anaestheology and registrar KAHE Belguam were also present in the programme.

KMC dean Dr C V Raghuveer welcomed the gathering.
