Mangalore, Dec 7: In order to preserve the ethos of the Brahmin communities Sringeri Brahmana Samaja will organize a one-day seminar on December 10 at Kottekar, informed president of the Sringeri Shankara Mutt Sathya Shankara Bollava.

Speaking to the reporters here on Wednesday he said that Kethagi Bhavani Shankar would speak on “Problems faced by the brahmanical community and solutions for their problems”. Enna Srinivasa Rao president of the Karnataka Hotels will inaugurate the seminar. Bollava Sathya Shankara will preside over the function.

Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of Karnataka State Kannada Sahithya Parishat, Bangalore, K S Karanth, president of Kota Mahajagatu, Saligrama, Pradeep Kumar Kalkurna, regional officer of the Akila Karnataka Brahmana Maha Sabha, K Umesh Shanbogue, president, Kundapur Brahmana Sanga, Umesh Rao, president Jnasha Shakti Sanskritika Sabha, Dr G Rama Bhat, Stemsite USA, Yakshagana artiste C H Gopalakrishna Shastri and N S Gokale president of the Chithpavana Brahmana Sanga will be the chief guests.

Sthanika Vipra Rathna award will be present to Ambalapadi Krishnaraya, former president and administrator of the Syndicate bank.

A P Yashwanth Sharma, Bangalore, Kukki Katte Booja Rao, Udupi, Anatharama Sharma, Mysore, Rama Mohan Rao, Karkala, Sharada Sukumar, Bantwal and Rathakara Rao will be felicitated on the occasion.
