Mangalore, Dec 12: CEO of Zilla Panchayat A M Kunjappa has instructed the secretaries of all the gram panchayats to buy good quality computers by the end of December 2006 so that all the GPs could go online from Monday January 1.

Speaking at the review meet of developmental works here on Monday December 11 he said that all the GPs should follow the already issued norms with regard to the purchase of computers.  "All were informed to purchase computers by end of November.  However, some of them have not yet purchased. All those should purchase the computer by the end of December," he ordered.

Reviewing the developmental works he said that works have been slow and only 75% of the proposed projects have been done.  "All should strive to make the best use of government fund for the developmental works in your jurisdiction," he suggested.
