Mangaluru: Sadananda Suvarna releases hand book on Dr Rajkumar

Mangaluru, Jan 14: Hand book on the life history of Dr Rajkumar written by Doddahulluru Rukkoji was released today at Mangaluru press club by Sadananada Suvarna.

Addressing the media Rukkoji gave a brief summary about the preparation of the book. He has spent 15 long years to write this book. He initially collected the information about Dr Rajkumar from movie magazines. He also interviewed more than 142 people who were close to Dr Rajkumar right from his family members to cameramen and all those who were associated with him in his film journey to personal life.

The book contains 2 volumes. Volume 1 consists of 1080 pages and 4120 pictures, volume 2 consists of 1060 pages and 4190 pictures.It took Rs 87 lacs to prepare this book. The book is at pre printing level and will be released on March 2 or 3.

Speaking on the occasion, Sadanada Suvarna appreciated the work of Rukkoji, "Its Rukkoji's love for Dr Rajkumar and his devotion which has made him to do this great work,it is a difficult job. It is one of its kind released in whole of India, no one has done such work on one artist. Rajkumar is such a actor that titles received by him 'varanata' or 'nata sarvabhama' are suitable titles for him. He is one of the finest actors of Kannada."

Rukkoji thanked Sadanada Suvarna for releasing his hand book on Dr Rajkumar. He praised Sadanada Suvarna and said he is a great man and has written great dramas in Kannada. Rokkoji added he is humbled to sit on the same dais with Sadanada Suvrna.

The book would cost approximately Rs.7,500 which will consist both the volumes 1 and 2.

Dr H R Swamy, Dr Vasudev belle, Somanna were present at this event.
