Mangaluru, Jan 15: A man who attacked the house in which his two sisters lived, dismantled the roof and other things from their house. Allegedly, he also stole Rs 15,000 in cash from their house. The incident occurred at Kallakumeru in Mannabettu village near Kinnigoli on Wednesday January 14.
It is gathered that the two women, Irene Rebello and Margaret Rodrigues, live in their ancestral house. Their brother, Norbert Rebello, had come with his wife, Raina Rebello, and some ruffians to inflict the above loss, it is said. The sisters said that the gang which gate-crashed into their property, vandalized their house and stole Rs 15,000 in cash kept inside a cupboard in the house.
Mulky police have registered a case relating to the incident, and undertaken investigation.
