Mangalore, Dec 27:
National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Mangalore University will be visiting Calicut, Pune and Shimoga as part of the tie-up between the University and Pune, Calicut and Kuvempu Universities.

This is first time that the NSS unit of Mangalore University has organised such cultural exchange camps involving universities from other states.

The NSS volunteers will visit various villages and create awareness on issues like AIDS, health and hygiene, non-renewable energy sources etc.

Each university has different programmes lined up for the volunteers. The first batch of students has already left for Pune.
