Kuwait, Dec 28: 'Joyeux Navidad, 2006' a grand Christmas Ball was organised by the Agnesian Alumni Kuwait on Christmas eve. The event took place in Hotel Ramada International

AAK Committee members had organised several programmes including games, compettions, music and dance.

The event began with a dance session  and soon after which Santa Claus kept the children as well as the crowd delighted with their antics and gifts.  AAK Committee members together with Santa and Santi cut the Christmas Cake as the band played Happy Birthday to Jesus.

Alumna Reyana Mahesh welcomed the audience on behalf of the President Diany and the committee members of the Agnesian alumnae. Lloyd and Reyana compered the event
 
Fabulous prizes and gifts were sponsored by Al-Qanat General Trading Co., Moghal Dine, Dawat Restaurant, Zaika Restaurant, Caesar’s Confectionery sponsored traditional Mangalorean sweets – Kuswar to feel the touch of the soil. 

The little Prince and Little Princess contests were held and Nikhil and Rushali won the titles respectively. A dance competition was also held and the lucky winners were awarded with trophies and prizes sponsored by Ballerine’s School of Dance. 

The proceeds of the show will be handed over to the principal of St Agnes College, Mangalore to render support to girls who need financial assistance for their studies.
