Karkala, Jan 18: The students of Arunodaya Special School bagged a whopping 30 medals at the district-level Olympics meet held here recently.
Out of the 30 medals, the students won nine gold, eleven silver and ten bronze medals in different events. Altogether, 14 students participated in the meet.
The school also emerged winner 25 medals at the district-level athletics meet held on the occasion of World Day for the Disabled at Udupi last month. Out of these, 11 were first, eight second and six third prizes. A total of 15 students participated.
