Mangalore, Jan 18: The relay hunger strike against Nagarjuna Power Project entered its 27th day on Wednesday January 17.
Speaking on the occasion, NRI and honorary president of Nandikur Janajagruthi Samiti expressed his support to the anti-Nagarjuna struggle and said that the matter is being debated even at the international level.
The agitation was led by Guruvayankere Nagarika Seva Trust and the villagers.
Among those present were Nandikur Samiti Mumbai committee honorary president Tyampanna Shetty, ZP member Shashikant Padubidri, environmentalist Vijay Hegde, Yuvashakti president Harish Kumar, TP member Ramesh Anchan, Nandikur Janajagruthi Samiti president Lakshman Shetty and others.
