Mangalore, Jan 19: The passing out parade of 104 civil police constables was held at the Police Training Ground here on Thursday January 18. This was the ninth batch passing out from the institution.
Speaking after receiving the guard of honour, additional director general of police (training) D V Guruprasad informed that the constables who passed will join the Bangalore City Police after the completion of their training from the training centre here. He advised them to be ready for bigger ‘white collar’ crimes such as terrorism, women and child trafficking and others in the large city of Bangalore.
He expressed his pleasure at the infrastructure facilities provided at the temporary training centre here and said that if the same is upgraded, it can be made into a full-time training centre.
Among those present were Western Range IGP H N Satyanarayan Rao and additional SP Lokesh Kumar.
