Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (VM)

Beltangady, Jan 21: Film actress Shobana, playback singer Anuradha Paudwal, singer Puttur Narasimha Nayak, renowned Saxophone artiste Kadri Gopalnath, artiste Narasimhalu Odavatti, singer Hariharan, Udit Narayan, music director Guru Kiran and actor Bank Janardhan...all will be in Dharmastala during the Mahamasthakabhisheka.

These nationally-acclaimed artistes will perform at the cultural programmes organized as part of the Mahamasthakabhisheka in Shri Kshetra Dharmastala.

Film actress Shobana will present Bharatanatyam while music concert by playback singer Anuradha Paudwal will be held on January 28.

Vidhuwan U K Praveen and his troupe will present ‘Bharatha Bahubail,’ a dance drama on January 29.

Yamini Muthayya and Maya Rao and team will present dances on January 30.

A Yakshagana by the Dharmastala mela, Odissi dance by Nirthya drama will be held on January 31.

Puttur Narasimha Nayak, Archana Udupa, Permalatha Divakar and others will present a light music concert. A dance performance by Usha Venkateshwaran and troupe will be held on February 1.

Bhanumathi of Bangalore will present Bharatanatyam, while a musical evening will be held by singer S P Balasubramanyam.

Kshama Sanjay and Sanjay Shanthram will perform Bharatanatyam, Gotipova dance of Orissa, Bihu dance of Assam, Chirolia Pova of West Bengal will be held on February 3. A Ghazal and Jugalbandhi programme will be held on the same night.

Kadri Gopalnath, Narasimhalu Odavatti and famous singer Hariharan will participate in the cultural progammes. A music programme by Udit Narayan and famous music director Guru Kiran will be held.

On February 3, there will be a performance by actor Bank Janardhan.
