Udupi, Jan 21: While the protest against the setting up of a thermal power project in Nandikur continues, a delegation of Nagarjuna Virodhi Horata Samiti and leaders from fishermen community are likely to visit the coal-based power plant in Dahanu in Maharastra on Monday.

Under the leadership of minister in-charge for DK district B Nagaraj Shetty, cost of the delegation will be borne by the government.

According to a press released issued by the Samiti, the decision to take a delegation was taken in a meeting chaired by Pramod Madhwaraj.The Maharastra government has given its consent to welcome the delegation.
