Mangalore, Jan 21: The city is decorated. Any mega event in the city paints the city red. But this time Mangalore city has been painted Saffron. The count down has begun for the Hindu Samajotsava.

With intense preparation for the birth centenary of the founder of RSS founder Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, the Hindu Samajotsava has been organized in Nehru Maidan on January 28.

Every road and traffic circle has been decorated with flags, buntings and the major roads of the city have huge posters and banners heralding the event.

On the other hand several organizations have expressed concern on the propaganda made for the event. The police too have an important task ahead to ensure that no untoward incident occurs during the event.

Around 60,000 people are expected to gather for the Samajotsava.
