Mangalore, Jan 22: Two persons of a group of six who had come from Madikeri on a sightseeing tour of Dakshina Kannada on motorcycles reportedly drowned in the Arabian Sea where they had gone for a swim off Someshwar beach near here on Sunday.
While one body was recovered, efforts were on to trace the body of the second tourist, Superintendent of Police B Dayananda said.
The Ullal police have identified one of the victims as Mohammad Naseer (23) from Madikeri. Pratap (23), a salesman, also from Madikeri, is missing and is presumed to have drowned too. His body is yet to be recovered.
