Mangalore, Jan 23: K B Balraj Rai officially became the president of district JD(S) after he took charge of the post on Monday January 22.
Speaking to press persons on the occasion, he said that JD(S) will not support Hindu Samajotsav in view of its secular agendas.
He further said that the list of presidents for the various committees of the part will be reorganised and announced soon. He expressed his desire to do away with differences of opinion within the party and said that he would strive to strengthen and unite the party.
A meeting of party leaders and workers will be held on Wednesday January 24 to discuss on how to build the party from the grassroots level, he said.
