Chennai, Jan 24: The hot news from Kollywood is this. Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan has had yet another tryst with controversy.

The tiding is that the Madras High Court has stayed the release of his in the making magnum opus, Dasavatharam , for four weeks.

The stay had been sought by a writer who claims Kamal's ‘Dasavatharam’ is based on a story he had submitted to the actor.

The writer, Senthil Kumar has accused Kamal of plagiarizing his story in which the hero plays ten different roles.

An unfazed Kamal is going ahead with shooting of the film. The unit may leave for Malaysia next month.

The legal setback has, of course, put a question mark on the release of the film, according to the grapevine.

But, then, controversy is nothing new to Kamal. His earlier films like ‘Virumaandi’ and ‘Vasool Raja MBBS’ ran into controversies over titles.

As if that was not enough, his MumbaiXpress also ran into rough weather with political parties taking exception to its title again.

Hopefully, Kamal will weather the latest storm over ‘Dasavatharam’.

Here is wishing you good luck, Kamal !
