Mangalore, Jan 25: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) will open a retail outlet in Kadri here by December this year, said MRPL managing director R Rajamani while speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday January 24.
Briefing the media about the third quarterly results of the company, he said that MRPL take the help of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) to supply petroleum products to its retail outlets. HPCL has infrastructure and product-sharing agreement with MRPL, he added.
He also informed that on Thursday January 25, the company will also export the first consignment of value-added mixed xylene from New Mangalore Port.
Petroleum retail outlets will also be opened at Hubli and Maddur, he said.
