Mangalore, Jan 25: An unidentified man and woman were found hanging from a tree at Ambika Nagara near Kavoor here on Thursday January 25 morning. It is said that duo might have committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree.
Both the deceased man and woman are said to be in the age group of 30-35. But their identity is not established. The woman was wearing kariamani in her neck which clearly indicates that she is married. However, it is not yet known as whether they were husband and wife or lovers.
Police said that they seem to be hailing from North Karnataka. They might have committed suicide on Tuesday January 24 night. They were found hanging on Thursday morning by some passers by. The bodies have been kept in Wenlock Hospital mortuary.
The Kavoor police have registered a case in this regard.
