Parents donate eyes of small accident victim girl

Bengaluru, Mar 2: A six-year-old girl who was run over by a two-wheeler on Sunday in Bengaluru is all set to bring life into a visually impaired person as her parents have decided to donate her eyes.

Lakshmi and her father, Anand, a trader from Devanahalli, were crossing the road at 12.45pm when a two-wheeler hit her on the road linking Devanahalli to Vijayapura near Kempegowda International Airport.

The girl was rushed to a hospital nearby but she succumbed to injuries. The girl's parents decided to donate her eyes, which were sent to MS Ramaiah Hospital.
