Belgaum, Mar 1: A six-year-old boy from Belgaum created a world record in limbo-skating on Wednesday by skating under 57 Tata Sumo vehicles in the city in just 30 seconds. Aniket Chindak eclipsed the record created last year by schoolgirl Muskan from Gwalior. She had skated under 43 Tata Sumo vehicles.

The boy, studying in first standard at Precious Blossoms School, Belgaum, started skating when he was just one-and-a-half year old. According to his father Ramesh Chindak ``he had a passion for skating right from the day he learnt it. He has been skating long distances for the last three years. At least once or twice a week, he skates from Belgaum to Kolhapur (100 km).'' For the last few years, Aniket has been skating under various cars with ease and never sustained injuries during limbo skating. A brave and flexible tiny tot, he has taken part in several State-level skating contests and has come out with flying colours.

Recently, he stood second in a skating contest held in Kolhapur where he skated from Kolhapur to Belgaum. On Wednesday, he was the cynosure of all eyes at Adarsh Nagar where he created a world record by skating under 57 Tata Sumos. Hundreds of people were awaiting for the start of the show to have a glimpse of Aniket. As expected, he finished the adventurous show in half-a-minute.  

On many occasions, he has squeezed through 20, 30 and 40 four-wheelers in Belgaum and Kolhapur. He frequently visits Kolhapur to meet his coach Suhas Karekar. The Lions Club of Saheli organised the show on Wednesday.
