Mumbai, Apr 17: Film maker, actor and scriptwriter Sajid Khan has finally boarded the Twitter bandwagon and how. His arrival sparked an influx of welcome messages. He made his presence known with his trade mark wit as he tweeted, "If laughter is the best medicine...then this is your local chemist....will strive to put a smile on your face..."

He followed it with "Never be a quitter"my teacher used to say...toh smoking ka kya karoon?" Which has already got nearly 200 people liking it and re-tweeting it.

Director Karan Johar wrote, "And the man with an incredible sense of humor is on twitter! Director and now columnist! Sajid khan! @simplysajidk."

Sajid's close friend Reitesh Deshmukh welcomed his buddy with these words, "Good to have the funny man himself on Twitter - @SimplySajidK - a huge welcome mere dost." And his wife Genelia too seemed very pleased at Sajid's foray into the world of tweeting. She wrote, "Welcome @SimplySajidK ... Now Twitter is going to be a riot for sure."

Actor Ram Kapoor, who was in his movie Humshakals said, "Guys please give a big shout out to @simplysajidk Mr. Sajid Khan who's finally on Twitter!!!! Better late than never brother." Sajid Khan's sister actor, film maker, Farah Khan extended her welcome too saying that if anyone wanted to read really funny Twitter messages, the y should follow her brother.
