CONGRATS KARNATAKA & MANGALORE ! After a long long time one was able to see something constructive, meaningful and useful happening in coastal Mangaluru. All credit to everyone involved in hosting the Federation Cup and giving an opportunity for all aspiring athletes. The State Sports Minister, Abhayachandra Jain took special interest in ensuring that Mangaluru hosts the Federation Cup. He along with his team from the Sports Ministry including Venkatesh and others backed the event which is visible from the opening day's ceremony. Dr. Parameshwar, of course, as the President of the Karnataka Athletic Body ensured that everything was perfect. The local officials from Mangaluru also hogged the limelight which is good for the city. If you do such beautiful sports events regularly everything else will become enjoyable and the people will become far more sporting than anything else. Sports can surely bring all people together without doubt. Three cheers to the Sports Ministry.Our youth should be inspired with such sporting events and aspire to reach the top in the international athletics world. But for that to happen you should perspire with dedication and application to get the final appreciation.
