Los Angeles, May 2 (IANS): Singer Britney Spears hurt herself on stage and shared a photograph of her injured leg with her fans and well-wishers.
Spears took a tumble while performing in Las Vegas on Wednesday, twisting her ankle.
The singer then posted a photograph of herself on micro-blogging webiste Twitter on Friday that showed her injured leg encased in a removable soft brace, reports people.com.
The 33-year-old wrote alongside the image: "This boot was made for walking."
While she finished her performance, her doctor advised her not to perform on Friday and Saturday so that she could give herself time to heal.
The “Toxic” hitmaker tweeted about her injury on Wednesday night after fans expressed concern, writing: "Thank you for all of the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I'm ok."
