Panaji, Mar 26: Indian World Cup cricket team is  the "most indisciplined team" India ever had, stated Board of Cricket control of India (BCCI) vice president Dayanand Narvekar.

The BCCI vice president has also demanded that coach Greg Chappel should be sent back as "India does not need a coach who could not deliver results."

"While on West Indies tour I have seen these boys loitering around till one o'clock in the night, smoking cigarettes… I have seen boys going out of ground during match and trying to be friendly with male or female whatever…," Narvekar said reacting to the Indian team's ouster from world cup.

"During last working committee meeting I had said that this team can't go upto the semi finals in the world cup. People in the board had high hopes and I was the only fellow who said that this is not going to happen," Narvekar, who also heads Goa cricket association, said.

He said Indian cricket players are on 'enjoyment spree' as they have lot of advertisement money. "I think that is a drawback of our team," Narvekar said.

The BCCI vice president, referring to players' demand for share of 27 per cent of board revenue, said "they should be asked to shell out certain percentage of collections from money earned through advertisements before considering their demand with the board."

"It's not that Sachin (Tendulkar) is handsome fellow like film star that he gets advertisements. He is worshipped because he is a cricketer and same thing happens to other cricketers," Narvekar said. "They should pay to the board or stop making advertisements."

Insisting for revamping of entire cricket team, Narvekar said that the non-performing players should retire before board or people throw them out. "The whole psyche of team is not good in the sense that they feel that their places in the team are secure. This is bad thing," he added.

The BCCI vice president said that if Bangladesh can produce wonders with boys at the age of 18, India too can do wonders as India has such a huge pool of resources.
