Mangaluru: Good rains in twin districts, hailstorm in Hebri again

Mangaluru, May 10: The hailstorm rain which was experienced in Hebri some days back was seen again on Saturday, May 9.

The rain which started at around 6 pm in the evening lasted for about 15 minutes with hailstorm falling on the ground throughout.

The people who ventured out to see and pick the hailstorm have informed that the impact of the hailstorm was painful on contact. The size of teh hailstorm was as big as a marble.

The Saturday rain was seen in all taluks of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts .

Subramanya received the highest rain while Udupi Karkal belt saw some lightening with rain. In Mangaluru city the rain was minimal.
