Bangalore, Apr 6: Good Friday was observed in Bangalore with solemnity starting with "Way of the Cross" at NBCLC enacting most of the stations, suited to the Indian socio-economic context.
At the end, neem leaves were distributed to all the faithful to remind that life is a mixture of bitterness along with the sweetness experienced.
Liturgical celebration of the Lord's Passion and death was conducted in dramatized way at NBCLC.
Ascension church, Cooke town, had the Lord's Passion in English, Kannada & Tamil. A large no. of faithful participated in the ceremony.
