Mangalore, Apr 10: The fourth Janasamparka Sabhe was held at Kavoor under the Suratkal Legislative Assembly near here on Monday April 9.

Suratkal MLA Krishna J Palemar distributed title deeds to as many as 2,500 people.

Speaking on the occasion, Palemar informed that the constituency plans to launch projects like welfare schemes, schools and drilling of borewells.

Aid from the chief minister’s relief fund was distributed to162 people while 53 people were given Rs 10,000 each to start small businesses, and 16 were given subsidized loans. Power tillers were also presented to three people.

Palemar also said that the fifth Janasamparka Sabhe will be the held soon wherein title deeds would be distributed to 2,000 more people and 13 power tillers will be given away.

Among those present were state Minority Development Corporation chairman Anwar Manipady, councilors Pramila Kanchan, Rajani Dugganna and Shankar Bhat.
