Bangalore, Apr 16: Valerian Fernandes has been unanimously re-elected as  the Chairman of the  Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations of Karnataka ( FKCA) during its AGM whcih was held at Konkan Bhavan, Bangalore on15th April.  Charles Gomes and Antony Gonsalves were elected as General Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Presidents and members from all the 12 member assocaitions were present.  Mr.Gabriel Vaz ,  Editor - Economic Times was the Chief guest. Representatives from 2 new Konkani Cathoic associations were also present as invitees.
 
Federation is its 10th year of existence. 12 Konkani associations have already been affiliated to the Federation and many more are in a process of affiliating to the Federation.  Main aim of the Federation is to unite all the Konkani Catholics, bring political awareness and fight for social justice. Last year FKCA has launched a housing project and free placement service cell. This year a House keeping course has already been planned also Federation is planning to bring all the entreprenuers together.
