Reminder: Musical Show of the Year in Bahrain - Wilfy Nite

Bahrain, May 16: The final countdown has begun on the  most-awaited musical evening of the year in Bahrain, 'Wilfy Nite', which is set to unfold on stage on May 17, 2007 in the Bishop Tirinanzi Auditorium located next to Sacred Heart Church.

Star performes of the evening Wilfy, Meena, Vishwas, Charleen and music directot Joswin have already arrived from Mangalore.

As expected at any Wilfy Rebimbus show, being a high-profile event, it is going to be a total sell-out, with many returning home being unable to gain an entry.

Securing entry passes well in advance would surely be a safer bet.

It’s a compliment to have the veteran and prominent Wilfy Rebimbus perform in Bahrain as Konkani lovers admire him for his profound & dedicated service attributed to Konkani language.  Whereever he lands, that land becomes rich with Konkani music & culture. Exemplary theme is the integral hallmark of his sentimental and melodius songs.

Renowned as “Konkani Kogul” to “Tulu Naada Kogile” he has won several awards including prestigious “Rajyothsava Award” from the Government of Karnataka.  He was honoured as the “Millennium Konkani Artiste” by Indian Catholic Association U.S.A..  He is recipient of prestigious “Daiji Dubai” award for the year 2006.


Dolla

He has composed more than 3000 songs, staged more than 200 Musical Nites.

He will be accompanied by his wife Meena Rebimbus  well known as “Konkani Maina”, talented son Vishwas & veteran musician Joswin.


Ronald Olivera

The comedy king “Dolla” with local artists will entertain the audience.

Walter Nandalike well known Editor of Daijiworld.Com will be the Special Guest.
