Abu Dhabi: Rony - Lulu to Add Spice to KCO Mangalorean Day

Abu Dhabi, April 18: As already announced earlier Konkani Cultural Organization (KCO) – Abu Dhabi is gearing itself for their forthcoming cultural extravaganza “the Mangalorean Day” to be held on Friday, May 18 at the Arzanah Ball Room, Abu Dhabi Sheraton Hotel.
The fun filled day long entertainment programme now include the ever popular Melody King Rony D’Cunha from Kuwait, who will join the music Maestro Konkani Kala Ratna and Karnataka Rajya Prashasti recipient and the President of Karnataka Konknni Sahitya Academy Eric Ozario and his troupe for a gala programme. Joel Pereira the ace musician from Mangalore will provide soothing music with his team of talented musicians from Mangalore.

Apart from above Goan singing sensation Miss Lulu with her melodious voice will render selected Goan songs to add an extra glamour to the occasion.
The blend of both Goan and Mangalorean traditional and modern songs and music, will no doubt will be a great hit. The spectacular day will be a complete family entertainment event of the year 2007.
KCO, the only Konkani organization in Abu Dhabi, strives hard to bring various artists each year, to enhance and spread the cultural richness of Mangalore, Goa and its surrounding areas.
Speaking to Daijiworld, Dolphy Vaz - the current President of KCO was optimistic that the show will be a sell out and anticipates large number Mangalorean and Goan audience to attend the show due to its unique presentation and urged people to reserve their place in advance lest they regret later of missing this fabulous show.
The show will also include variety of dances, music, songs, novelty dance, buffet, raffle draws which will fetch attractive prizes.
The event will be compered by the talented Melita Pinto – Miss Daijiworld and Daijiworld TV Anchor, who will keep the crowd entertained by her own unique style and will add glamour to the occasion.
