Udupi: One Killed as Vehicle Rolls into Gorge near Pangala

Udupi, Apr 22: A Tempo vehicle from Mangalore on its rounds supplying bread skidded on the national highway 17 and rolled over into a gorge near Pangala near here on Sunday morning.

Sachin, hailing from Moodushedde near Mangalore and working as the supply supervisor, was killed in the accident, according to initial reports.

The driver Laxminarayana and another occupant Damodar, have been injured and admitted to the hospital.

The exact cause of the accident is not known. It is apparent that the driver lost control over the vehicle. Further details are awaited.
