Mumbai, Apr 23:
The buzz is that Shetty may soon buy a sprawling Victorian-style apartment in London's posh Primrose Hill area, for a staggering Rs 2.8 crore

The latest in the Shilpa Shetty files is that she has booked a plush flat worth Rs 2.8 crore at Primrose Hill, a swish locality in London. After Big Brother, Shilpa's sagging career seems to be going uphill, and our sources say that she has been getting so many interesting offers in Britain that a house there makes perfect sense for her.

"Shilpa has been travelling a lot of late. Her agents in the UK suggested to her that she should buy a place there since she spends a considerable amount of time there," a source says.

After she zeroes in on her property at Primrose Hill, Shilpa will get to rub shoulders with the swish set comprising who's who around Regent's Park in North London. Our source reveals, "The hill has a clear view of central London."

A vicinity lined with Victorian terraces, it has always been one of the more fashionable districts in the urban belt that lies between the core of London and the outer suburbs.

Last year, the area became the subject of media attention when an empty multi-million pound house was taken over by a group of squatters. So, Shilpa will not be the only attraction in the neighbourhood!

Shilpa, currently busy with the dubbing of Anurag Basu's Metro , will leave for London once again by the second week of May.

We tried to get in touch with Shilpa Shetty but she was unavailable for comments (Guess, she was busy finalising the details of her swank new place). Her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar said, "It's premature to comment on this. On her visits to the UK, Shilpa has been putting up at hotels in London. She has her favourites too, but often experiments , staying at different places."

So will that deter her from buying a home and settling down in London? "Not exactly," quips Bhagwagar. "As she is now a huge draw in UK and is expected to go there pretty often, it does make sense for her to buy a nice place in London ," he adds.
