New Delhi, May 10: Budding Indian cricketers will have an opportunity to learn the metronomic skills of World Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP) Glenn McGrath when he visits Kolkata and Hyderabad on a coaching assigment later this month.

'Pigeon' will share his experiences and expertise with around 300 junior cricketers selected by Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) by a spending a day in Kolkata, according to CNN-IBN.

The legendary fast bowler retired from international cricket on a high, bagging the Man of the Series award in the World Cup for his 26-wicket haul in his last assignment for Australia.

CAB president Prasun Mukherjee was excited about the legendary bowler's visit.

''From the CAB point of view I would like to take maximum advantage of this opportunity of Glenn McGrath coming to this state.

All the bowlers from the top most Ranji players downwards to under-15 should be there and take maximum advantage of this opportunity,'' he said.

And if the administrators are pleased, for fast bowling aspirants it is a god-sent opportunity.

Bengal pacer Ranadeb Bose, who was the leading wicket -taker in domestic cricket last season, wants to grab the ideal opportunity to take his game to the next level.

''I need to ask him about psychological issues because he is not going to teach us how bowl an outswinger or an inswinger. It is more about the mental thing. It is more about how you train your mind because I honestly believe that these Australians are so hard-working that they can actually walk through walls,'' Bose said.
