Mangalore, June 1: Valedictory function of post-centenary silver jubilee celebration of City Bar Association will be inaugurated by Supreme Court judge Justice R V Raveendran at Town Hall here on Monday June 4.

Chairman of State Bar Council Rajendra Desai will preside over the function. Karnataka and Kerala High Courts former Chief Justice will be the chief guest and will deliver a talk on ‘Role of Bench and Bar in Justice Delivery System’.

On the occasion minister for fisheries and muzarai B Nagaraj Shetty, MP D V Sadananda Gowda, MLC Blasius M D’Souza, MLC J Krishna Palemar, MLC Ganesh Karnik, MLC Yogish Bhat, principle district and session judge H M Bharatesh, vice-chairman of State Bar Council T Narayana Poojary, State Bar Council members M Seetarama Shetty and P P Hegde will be the guests of honour.

Bar Association president Monappa Bhandary, secretary Santhosh Kumar Rai K, treasurer Sumana Sharan and finance sub-committee and member chairman M P Shenoy were present at the press meet.
