Mangalore, Jun19: In a rare case, the undertrials in the district sub-jail went on a flash strike, protesting against the transfer of jailor, Suresh, on Tuesday June19 morning.
Suresh, who is said to have worked for their transformation has maintained cordial relationship with the inmates which has been appreciated even by his superiors. Though he has been good to the inmates, he has also be strict when it comes to norms and regulations.

Now that he has been transferred all of a sudden, the prisoners went on protest demanding the cancellation of his transfer order.
