London, Jun 28: Lara Dutta’s trip to the UK for an awards ceremony proved to be more than just a fun trip. The leggy actor was invited by the Medical Aid Association in the UK to speak in the House of Commons on human trafficking. She claims to have had a great experience speaking in front of the ministers and not only this but she also got an opportunity to visit the Queen’s Gate.
Lara readily agreed when the association asked her to actively contribute against human trafficking. Lara said that she will provide her complete support for such a serious concern and that she would love to make use of her celebrity status for such a noble cause.
Before this, Lara also has been associated with the UN for working towards global causes.
