Nice to see Mangaloreians celebrating Moti feast, as I went through the photos, I was bit nostalgic and remembered the same way we celebrated Moti feast at Salalah, Oman. 20 years back. May Mother Mary bless each and every one in this world.

Beautiful choreography and hard work by Glenda Castelino...Kudos to her... all children of MCC got a major participation this time where they showed their superb ability... Needless to say every one from MCC worked really hard...it could be financial contribution, or preparing different dishes by individual family/group, decoration, Choir, Music, serving food, Liturgical preparation ... everything went voluntarily by every MCC member of Ghala Parish without craving for any recognition.. and this event should be called as a collective effort of Ghala Mangalorean Christian community, as each and every one have selflessly contributed in all respect!

Monthi Fest celebrations in all its fullness is what Ghala Mangaloreans enjoyed this time around. The beauty of helium-filled balloons in the form of Rosary flying high to the sky caught special attention of the audience and the scene was really amazing. Native Band, homeland traditions, etc. gave festive fervour and brought back childhood memories of olden days. Congratulations to the community leaders and committed volunteers for their hard work. Preaching by the Guest Priest on Novena days duly supported by anecdotes & real life experiences to overcome contemporary challenges surrounding family life & importance of prayer to move closer to God, etc. spiritually strengthened the faithful.
