AAP workers protest against V.K. Singh in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, Oct 24 (IANS): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers burnt the effigy of union minister Gen. V.K. Singh (Retd) here on Saturday.

The volunteers succeeded in burning the effigy at the party's Maliwara office but another attempt to burn it in Sahibabad area was foiled by police.

About 100 volunteers assembled at the party office in Maliwara and shouted slogans against the minister who represents Ghaziabad in the 16th Lok Sabha.

AAP leader Mukesh Prajapati said the minister should immediately be sacked from the cabinet.

"The former army chief's mind set is feudal. He compared Dalits with dog which is his internal feeling... he is definitely an anti-Dalit in the BJP," he added.
