Lucknow, Aug 2: Even as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today made an aerial survey of the flood affected districts, the flood fury continued in more than 20 districts of the state.

In the last 24 hours, flood claimed two more lives, taking the toll so far to 102.

Two youth drowned in river Ghaghra at Belihiya village of Azamgarh district last evening, reports today said.

In Gorakhpur division, water level of rivers was increasing at high pace, however, rivers Rapti and Rohini were still one meter below the danger mark.

Ms Mayawati has also admitted to the grim flood situation during her aerial survey of Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Bahraich and Shravasti districts.

She ordered officials to provide quick relief and rescue operations, wherever needed.
