Kundapur, Nov 11: KMC Hospitals Mangaluru, part of Manipal Health Enterprises, one of India’s leading healthcare groups opened its Information Center in Kundapur on November 9.

Manjunath M Shetty, DySP of Kundapur sub division inaugurated the KMC Hospital Information Centre. Dr Rajesh Bhat, Cardiologist KMC Hospital Mangaluru was also present in the inauguration ceremony.

This initiative will help people greatly with an easier access to all the information regarding KMC Hospitals and increase the efficiency of the operation for the 3rd largest Healthcare chain in India.

This Information Center is a one-stop centre in smaller cities for information on various facets of the KMC Hospitals, Mangaluru. It is a great opportunity where one can avail the benefits of a world class health service provider. In the initiation of such a venture a Franchise model will be followed.

Dr Anand Venugopal, Medical Superintendent KMC Hospital Mangaluru said the Information Centre Services would include information about the medical procedures along with the corresponding expenses, super specialty consultations, video consultations, lab sample collection, On Call ambulances-if possible, information about outreach camps, other events and many more facilities, which promise to encompass all the queries and serve the people.

Talking about this special venture, Dr Anand Venugopal said “This Centre is an effort to provide quality healthcare to the people of Kundapur. A one of its kind venture, the information Centre will have lots of facilities to help people with an easy access to Manipal Health. There will be a Registration facility and occasionally we also aim to conduct OPD and Outreach clinics. There would also be value added services like booking travel, lodging etc. Our main objective is to create platform to interact/knowledge transfer with patients along with the creation of SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for patients.”
