Mangalore, Aug 22: ‘Prathibhanveshane-2007’ will be organized as a part of Ganeshothsava celebration by Sarvajanika Ganeshothsava Samiti and Bunts Alias Nadavara Mathr Sangha on Sunday August 26, said Dr Asha Jyothi Rai convener of entertainment and culture division, in a press conference here on Tuesday August 21.

The programme will be inaugurated by Kumble Sundar Rao president of ‘Samskara Bharathi’ at Geetha SM Shetty Hall, Bunts Hostel here. Richard Castelino film producer and director will preside over, he informed.

This is the 4th Prathibanveshane being organized to promote harmony and as well as to provide a platform for the students so that they can showcase their talents, he added.

Competition like Bharatnatyam will be held on September 2, folk song on September 2, Chennamane and Pardana on September 8, folk dance on September 9, drawing Lord Ganesha on September 14, Rangoli on September 15. These competitions are open for the public.

Competition like devotional songs will be held on Sunday August 26, debate and sports on September 9 and Bhajan on September 16. These will be held only for the bunt community members.
