New Delhi, Sep 1:
A woman was arrested in New Delhi on Friday August 31, for allegedly hurling stones at the official car of Railway Minster Lalu Prasad while he was driving down to the Parliament. 

The incident took place on Friday morning outside the Minister's Tughlak Road office when the woman, aged about 40, suddenly emerged from among the people assembled there and started pelting Lalu Prasad's car with stones.

The Minister didn't receive any injuries. His security officials caught the woman, identified as Rita, and took her to a nearby police station for questioning.

Confirming the incident, Lalu Prasad told reporters: "I didn't suffer any injury or harm. The security officials immediately overpowered the lady and she is being questioned at a police station."

According to police, during interrogation Rita disclosed that she had been trying to meet the Minister for the last three days but had not been allowed.
