From the very early younger days of her life, she had a caring habit for the suffering people, so her inborn nature of loving the humanity must be noticed.

Amy Carmichael of Donavor in Tamil Nadu (she was a Scottish missionary who came to Donavoor to help the poorest, especially the devadasi Temple girls) said " you can give a person without loving but you can't love a person without giving".

Amma got great guidance from a Catholic Priest in that village.
When the Priest was transferred to another Church, he went to her home and told her parents that GOD has some special plan for her life as a great humanitarian. While she was doing some tailoring job in the Church building, her sister went with her her sister showed interest to participate in the Church, Amma greatly supported the sister's wish. In an American Broadcasting Corporation's 20/20 programme, in her office room, she had the picture of Jesus Christ and Lord Krishna.

Amma is doing greater humanitarian service for the needy she is not wrapped up in high colored fancy religious outfit to impress or brainwash the public as a divine personality, but as a very humble person with a perpetual and charismatic smile.

We all need to look at the noble and giving nature of those people of any religious background because they are doing that with a divine purpose in their lives to bring healing and happiness to the hurting world.

lonewolf, Amma is a Hindu by birth but she preaches HUMANITY. To quote her "I don’t see if it is a man or a woman. I don't see anyone different from my own self. A continuous stream of love flows from me to all of creation. This is my inborn nature. The duty of a doctor is to treat patients. In the same way, my duty is to console those who are suffering."
Slowly we are all drifting towards 'One God who is the Almighty' ...

Then better visit personally instead of using middleman.

If you find anything good accept it, or if you find something wrong, don't trust.

Never trust anyone blindly who ever it may be or which ever religion it may be.

Very simple to understand but first necessary to become a common man with bold name. Hope you understand the meaning of Amma

Amma, Welcome to the holy city of Mangalore. Please preach the people of Mangalore how to live in harmony among each other. Religion should not be a bond between two human beings from different religion. Every human being has the right to believe and follow his faiths without disturbing other human of different faith. In the eyes of God, be it be Ram, Allah or Jesus we are all his children. So please preach our fellow brothers in Mangalore to reaspect each others religion and live in harmony and take care of each other irrespetive of religion.
    Jai Sri Ram.

We share the same thought. "Amma sees the whole world as a flower.
    Each petal represents a nation.
If one petal is infested with pests, it will affect the other petals as well. The beauty of the whole flower suffers. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to protect and nurture this flower. Therefore all the nations of the world should advance together, hand in hand, sharing and adopting each others’ worthy contributions and examples" ...
