Dubai, Jan 6: St Mary's Mangalorean Community (SMMC), Dubai will host 'SMMC Cricket & Throw Ball Cup - 2016', a friendly, one-day indoor tournament at Sportz Club, Dubai on February 12 (Friday).
SMMC is a novel organization initiated in 2013 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Dubai to gratify the spiritual and commercial requirements of the vast Mangalurean community of Dubai. With the support of SMMC spiritual director Fr Robert Lasrado, the present SMMC committee has now organized this tournament as its first venture of the year 2016.
As many as 30 teams from different Emirates will participate in the day-long tournament.
SMMC has solicited support for this event through active participation.
