Mumbai, Sep 6: A portion of a building in south Mumbai collapsed, injuring six people, fire brigade sources said on Thursday.
"A small portion of a five-storey Patel Building at Boribander in south Mumbai collapsed yesterday night, injuring six men asleep below the building," a fire brigade officer said.
All the injured have been taken to the state-run St George's Hospital, he added.
"Out of the six, three have sufferred head injuries while two have facial injuries and one injured his hip. They are all stable," said Deputy Superintendent of St George's Hospital, Ashok Kamble.
