In several temples across Karnataka, lakhs of people are served lunch as prasadam every single day. Nowhere in the world free lunches are served in this size. Hygiene is most important thing in such cases. Hope that is maintained in the future as well. Anna danaa Mahaa dana.

Food item (cooked) is a food even if it is served as 'Prasaad' It has a certain time of remaining good, after which the bacteria start working within to spoil it. Therefore, those who serve such food must ensure it is maintained under certain temperature or made hot after the time limit is crossed.

Please don't be under the impression that just because its offered to a deity, it will not spoiled.

Please... faith and health hazard are two polarizing matters, do not put your God to test.

Isn't it God`s responsibility to ensure that prasaad is fit for consumption?
