'Modi is god's gift to India': Venkaiah Naidu

New Delhi, Mar 21 (DHNS): Senior Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu eulogized Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the course of moving political resolution at the BJP conclave on Sunday.

He said that “Modi is god’s gift to India” and that “Modi” stood for “Modifier of Developing India”. The statement later caught the party unawares and put in a spot.

A mail reporters received from the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs’ office stated that Naidu made the “following points while moving the political resolution”. Among them was a narrative highly praising Modi –an instance insiders can’t recall happening in previous conclaves on such a serious policy matters.

“Sri Narendra Modi is ‘Modifier Of Developing India’” was one of the sentences of his speech. Later, the mail quoted Naidu to describe Modi as a “decisive leader, nationalist politician who provides progressive governance”. And later the minister commented that “Modi is a god’s gift to India. He is the messiah of the poor. He inherited challenges in each and every sector. He is steering clear of them”.

Union Finance minister Arun Jaitley did not refer to Naidu’s comment about Modi in the afternoon press conference the BJP had organised to share with media about the political resolution moved by the minister and seconded by party leader Saroj Pandey.

By that time, the mail from Naidu’s office had not landed at reporters. At the BJP’s evening press meet held to give talking points on the prime minister’s remarks to conclude the two-day national executive, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh initially chose not to react on queries seeking his response to Naidu’s remark. Later, he said that he will speak only on issues arising of Modi’s address and that a briefing on the political resolution has already taken place.

“You will get a copy of political resolution. Please read it carefully and You will get to know what was there,” Singh said when reporters kept on pestering him with the same question. After the press meet was over, general secretary Shrikant Sharma, who had shared the dais with Singh and other leaders including Shahnawaz Hussain, said what was wrong even if Naidu said that. The media cell of the party also tried getting in touch with Naidu’s office to confirm if the episode took place.

Without prejudice..., the irony is that if we observe critically around & across the Brahmanda (Universe/World) with a little bit of patience & wisdom - the violence, killings, damage, unrest, cheating etc., in the name of God is on a rise & rampage.

Hence, in my opinion, one should be prudent & careful while quoting Almighty's reference to fulfill human wishes(that too political in nature). Though i may wrong, it seems in kaliyuga people don't restrict the use of God's name & fame for good deeds but for ev*l deeds also.

We should wait for our honorable PM Namo's response & reaction.., whether his inner voice oblige or not to honorable minister's view..., let us wait & watch.

On a lighter side...,in Delhi & Bihar people rejected Gods gift

    Jai Ho.., Jai Hind..,

Sycophancy at its peak. Must be Modi's new found Court Jester. Venkaiah Naidu doesn't know that God is Love,Merciful, forgiving and never revengeful or divisive. Can Modi match these qualities of God and can God ever gift such a person to an innocent people of India who trusted Modi's words during elections that he would bring Aache Din?

By his silence and inaction on so many burning issues of the country nobody will think that he is a gift of god , except his chamchas who want to enjoy power in his name.
