If corruption levels in India were reduced to levels in developed economies such as Singapore or the United Kingdom, India's GDP growth rate could increase at a higher rate annually. C. K. Prahalad estimates the lost opportunity caused by corruption, in terms of investment, growth and jobs for India is over US$50 billion a year.

He can't plug millions of dollars flowing to overseas destinations through the hands of rich and the mighty, whereas to hike the oil prices, all it takes is an order at midnight, khallas. Common man will wail for a while, but so what? Just in the last quarter of 2018 give him some hope, this ullu banawing strategy worked very well in 2014 and a good part of the moronic 31% is still under that spell.
